I’ve been doing User Experience for more than 5 years now and I love every minute of it. It’s rare for someone to say that, but I’m a passionate designer with a strategic background founded from a degree in Business Management and working as an Account Lead in an agency. It comes together in this innovative mesh of creativity.

Project Highlights
May 2011 – Sep 2011
Geo Messaging Application
Senior Information Architect
Worked with a Toronto start-up company to lead the UX for an innovative geo-messaging application, responsible for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry
- Designed never-before-seen mobile functionality that included “pulse”, the ability to send location information for a set period of time, or while in a certain radius of your current location, and “multi-search”, the ability to search for a bar, near an ATM that’s near a subway at a certain location
- Worked directly with the CEO to distill the core focus of the application and learnt how to better manage my peers by using education, competitive examples and play (actually using a prototype) to reinforce recommendations
- Worked closely with the CTO and development team to gain a better understanding of how the platform differ technically, and how that opens and constrains the user experience
- The project lost funding prior to launch, however I consider it one of my greatest achievements. You can see the wireframes for all 3 platforms in my portfolio
